or Fundimentals of Music Notation...i'm taking my first college class...and its in music....i'm kinda worried about it....if youv'e taken the class before would you please tell me what you do...like is it about composers or just music in general...

Music theory is a great class. It can apply to all types of music. However, I do think it is a hard class to appreciate unless you have a genuine interest in music.

I'm sure it is going to be about things like the "circle of fifths" and why these notes belong in chords and what a triad is and how you make a diminished seventh etc.
