In all seriousness, if you live in the California/Washington/Oregon area and have had lettuce, there is an e.coli warning in effect. If you think you and your kids may have eaten bad food, don't say you CAN'T get them to a doctor... just do it. Call 9-1-1

But... If you think this is just stomach flu and not something much more serious, ask someone to make a purchase for you at a Wal-Mart or Target: It's a liquid anti-nausea medicine called called Emetrol (the store brand will do just fine).

The regular flavor tastes like 7-up syrup. It may also come in a cherry flavor. Read the label, as it may not be for very young children.

One teaspoon is usually enough to settle a stomach, but here's the important thing: do not eat or drink anything else for 15 minutes.

good luck, hon!

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. Do you have a mother or sister who can come over to help? What about a neighbor or a friend?

You may need to call 911.

Are the children displaying symptoms of flu or abdominal problems only? If it's flu, you may be able to give them age-appropriate medication to help with their symptoms, but if they could have food poisoning, you may need to take them to the hospital because the young ones' immune systems may not be able to handle it--and dehydration is a big concern if they can't hold anything down.

Give them each a puke bucket and put a blanket on the linoleum kitchen floor and let them lay on it- they can stay there and clean up will be easier- give them a new puke bucket while you empty their old one- flush puke in toilet- make sure they do not have food poisoning- call there Md can advise and call in medicine-asap-and he have bigger kids help littler ones= or get one really big bucket or 2 or 3 and have them share= cool damp cloth on head may help a little- things will get better- D

As I said before you should CALL the doctor and ask him/her to call in some Phenergan suppositories so the kids will stop vomiting.

Do it.
