I think Israel shouldn't have been created in the first place...and we wouldn't have had so many problems in the Middle East and thousand of lives would have been speared...It shouldn't exist the way it does today,by occupying Palestinians land...
But,now, that it exists,I think that the whole world should work together to find a solution to this crisis...'cos as long as Israel is still there, there will never, ever be peace...Arabs hate them for stealing their land, and the Israelis want to grab as much land as possible...Israel must be relocated somewhere else.Israel ,as a country maybe should exist, but not where it is now...
And about the creation of Israel based upon a biblical text...they really don't care much about it...Or at least they didn't when they tried to create Israel in South America and later in Africa...

Israel wasn't planted by the West -- the original 1947 settlers moved there on their own, despite the attempts of the British, and then the UN, to slow down the influx. The West only let the Holocaust happen, which gave the Jews the motivation to get out of Europe before something like that could happen again.

That much being said, the Jews did NOT have Palestine before the resettlement in the XIX Century by the Zionists. The majority of the original Jews were driven out by the Romans in the First Century CE because of their constant rebellions and their gross intolerance of other religions. Those who remained were mostly converted to Islam in the Eighth Century. The Israelis of today are NOT the Hebrews who pretended that YHVH had promised them the land of Palestine (a promise about as valid as my promising the Cherokee Indians the right to claim Canada as their own).

I am of the christian faith, and have heard this argument so many times that the Jews are gods chosen?? yet everything I have read it said the children of Israel are gods chosen ??nowhere have I seen that the children of Israel and the Jews are the same, is it because they say they are or because they supposedly know how to speak Yiddish or Hebrew? I speak Spanish am I Mexican? If research is right by a government sponsored group of scientist and anthropologist are to be believed the Jews and Arabs are the same except their religion,
they were planted there against the Palestinians approval by America and Britain in 1947, I believe for the purpose of keeping the Arabs fighting against them so the west could steal from them, I personally think it very wrong , as there will never be peach in the middle east as long as Jews are there killing Arabs and by the U,S, helping the Jews unconditionally, how can Americans ask why do the Arabs hate us knowing this??

These are the questions hat need to be asked in this day and age! I agree completely, Isrealis claim that the Nation of Palastine never existed and the the land they claimed was nearly vacant. This isnt true. England and the rest of Europe gave the Jews Israel and forced the Palastinians, an ancient culture that originally lived there out. The Jews should have been given a part of Germany.

Israel existed long before recorded history. Certainly the people were forced to leave many times but they also returned many times.

No the nation should not have been decreed by Churchill & Eisenhower, Just see what a mess they created among the various countries of eastern europe.

Israel should be happy with what they have and not be waging war on others.

We have all paid dearly for the holocaust. Let the matter rest.

The Jews and Arabs have swapped control over those lands many times. At some point you have to stop with the historical grievances and work at a resolution.

Look at very recent history. Israel has tried to make peace with the Palastineans and give them their own land. They vacated Gaza and were talking about doing so in the West Bank.

How have the Palastineans held up their end. They shoot rockets into Israel from Gaza, and they've elected a terrorist organization, Hamas, whose sole aim is to eliminate Israel, as their official government. To this day, they will not acknowledge Israel's right to exist.

Bottom line - the Israelis gave peace a chance and tried to live side by side with the Palastineans. The Palastineans spit in their face and have virtually declared war. Whatever Israel does from here on out is OK with me. They've proven they have the moral high ground.

Yeah, they left. Here's a history lesson. After the Hebrews had the audacity to decide that they'd rather rule themselves than be ruled by the Romans ( that would be Italians) the Romans instituted a policy whereby they murdered thousands upon thousands of Hebrews, stole their land stole their property level ed the Temple in Jerusalem and forced those who survived into slavery. Sure, they left all right. Judging your lack of understanding and your terrible spelling, even with a free spell checker, you obviously wasted the money your parents spent on your education on beer and pizza. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? Maybe you'd have been happier if Hitler had been more successful, or maybe you just don't understand that Israel is THE ONLY FREAKIN' DEMOCRACY IN THE REGION AND THEY HAVE SUPPORTED US WITHOUT QUESTION. OK go take your Ritalin, finish your Kool Aid and watch Bugs Bunny for the rest of your life.

Isreal asked to be recognized as a nation and work with the UN like other peaceful nations. The only thing stopping Palestine from doing the same thing is they can't be trusted to keep their word. If they didn't go back on their word (time hjas proven this over and over) we would recognize them as civilized and work with them to give them their own nation too. Until they stop acting like primates, they won't be recognized as a civilized nation. Israel has proven repeatedly they are interested in living their lives peacefully - you don't hear them swearing to kill other races or religions, you don't see them using their nukes on all those countries that hate them.

The fact is that the Israeli people were forced to leave the lands - either as slaves or by war. Whether the formation of Israel as it is now was right or wrong is a moot point. It cannot be changed.

ok, here it is in a nutshell. The "West economic business enterprise" replaced into as quickly as area of the country of Palestine. while Palestine ceased to exist in 1948, the WB replaced into absorbed by Jordan (something of Palestine grew to develop into Israel.) interior the 1968 conflict, the West economic business enterprise replaced into seized by Israel. besides the indisputable fact that, the late King Hussein of Jordan (of which the WB replaced into formally a component of) ceded the land to the Palestinian human beings. It under no circumstances, shape, of type belongs to Israel, neither is it IN Israel. it quite is a small bite of what replaced into initially Palestine between Israel and Jordan....you may hit upon it on a map. to declare (as Samsoona does) that it decrease than protection stress "supervision" is laughable; it is decrease than Israeli protection stress occupation. sure, it quite is a bite of land----one the place Palestinians lived and thrived. Israel has been in violation of United countries mandate 242 because 1968 requiring them to furnish the land back to the rightful proprietors. Israel, besides the indisputable fact that, maintains to construct unlawful settlements there. There you're, no non secular mumbo-jumbo, basically the data :) Edit: I stand in awe of Duane's amswer, and that i bow right down to him :)
