when you are pregnant, should your lower abdomen feel hard? And if so, how far along? 1 month? 2 months???

Yes, from what Ive heard, that's normal. Some days it could be hard, other days it could feel softer. It might last your whole pregnancy. Sometimes it might even be sore or tight feeling. I wouldnt worry about it. Good luck.

I think that it 1. depends on the person, and 2. depends on the person's size. Your abdomen firms up because the new baby is taking up room in there. If you are smaller when you have the baby, you may be able to feel it earlier on. If you have a little extra weight in the abdomen area already, it may take longer to feel the firmness in the tummy area. With my first kid, I was firm down there from the get go. With my second, it was a while before I could feel the firmness.... because I had a lot of extra skin in my abdomen.

Yes, your lower abdomen will start to feel hard when you are about 3 months along probably. Maybe even 2 months is people who are pretty thin. Congrats

I am five months and my abdomen was hard for the first three months and now its not its just one of the things that happen

Yes, Ask a doctor and you need an ultrasound to tell you how far along you actually are for a more accurate reading!

yes it will feel hard fro a while. for about 1 to 2 monthes

it should start to feel "firm" about 2 months-3 months along

I felt it like at 4 months. It was not very hard but if I put my hand & pushed very gently I could feel it.

depends on your body, I'm 6 months and my stomach is not really hard at all. I guess it depends on the person and how they carrier

You would feel hardness from about 12 weeks onwards.
