hmm, I've actually wondered that myself because many kids I've met who have been one were also the other.
I would say though, an emo kid is more specific and just is one who listens to emo and is more depressive. And I'd say an emo kid is usually a scene kid, but not all scene kids are emo kids because to me scene is more just the style. I've known many indie kids who I'd consider scene, but they're definitely not emo at all.

Kid's that try to act black, even if they are as white as a ghost, certainly aren't tough. They're all talk and no action. Emo kids are are actually more intelligent (I know it's a stereotype but I know at least 8 emo kids and they're all top of the class) so they'd use their wit to talk the wannabe-black-kids into punching themselves in the face and then they'd die and then the emo kids would party and then everyone would be happy :D

Scene kids r ppl who don't want 2 be called emo but still dress in that style.
It's with the layered&colored hair, skinny jeans, hair in their face.

"...the terms scene kids and scenesters are also used in reference to people aged 12-18 and over-18 respectively, involved in the more popular stereotypical aspects of hardcore, metalcore, electroclash, indie rock and emo music scenes."

Emo is a trype of music... but it is also a sort of stereostyping... like most of the emo kids are little bratts that cut themselves cuz of the drama and stuff like that.... cry for stupid *** reasons, ya no
and a scene kid is almost like a punk, just more feminine
