Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding pregnancy symptoms is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. Some women experience pregnancy symptoms within a week of conception. For other women, symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy symptoms.

Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.

The earliest signs of pregnancy may include dizziness and a feeling of nausea specially in the morning. This is also called 'morning sickness'. When this happens, you should consult your family doctor as soon as possible.

For every sign of pregnancy, it is also a symptom of something else.

The only way to be sure that you are pregnant are these things.

1. You've had unprotected sex.
2. You have missed your period.
3. You have a positive pregnancy test.
4. Your OB confirmed your pregnancy.

I wanted to know the same thing. I have some symptoms of being pregnant, but I think its too soon to actually tell. I guess some signs are sore breasts, dizziness, feeling very tired, grumbling stomach, acne and/or beautiful glowing skin, stronger nails and hair, feeling nausea, hot flased, abdomonal pain, cramps, irregular discharge, sensitivity to smells and tastes.. there are a lot of signs. You may experience them all, you may not get any. I guess we just have to sit back and see what happens.. I hate waiting!

For me, it was bigger and tender breasts, I was extremely emotional and had all my normal PMS symptoms on top of those; stomach cramps, nausea, backache, extremely moody.
