Ipod mini help please!!?!?!?!?!?

Ok so I had to reset my ipod mini and when I plug it into my computer it says The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer. I've already tried pluging it into my computer and reseting it and I uploaded a new itunes. WHAT DO I DO NOW??? I really want my ipod mini back and I don't know what to do!?!?! Help me please!!

if it is possible try an older version of itunes. If it still doesn't work then you will have to send it to the apple store to fix it.
