Ready to join the Military? I served for six years, so before you talk smack, be ready to do your share of defending America.

The situation in N. Korea at this time does not warrant an invasion. We will try diplomacy first, including the (worthless) U.N., just like we're supposed to. You can see how effective the negotiations were with N. Korea from 1994 when Clinton was in office.

If it reaches the point that they are supplying Iran with nukes, or they get bold enough to threaten us, be assured that we can do whatever it takes with a nuclear sub and an aircraft carrier. Also don't listen to the liberals rail on about lack of troop strength. NEWS FLASH: THE MILITARY IS NOT SO DUMB AS TO REVEAL HOW MANY TROOPS THAT WE REALLY HAVE, AND WHERE THEY ALL ARE.

Our troop strength in the late 1930s was no where near what it is today, and Germany, Japan, and Italy found out the hard way what happens when we have to fight wars on three major fronts.

Once again, the war with Iraq et al has NOTHING to do with oil. We could have left Saddam in power and bought all that we wanted from him.

Because how can we attack another country right now? you idiot! Do you really think we can afford to send more troops out to some other nation? And when I say afford ... I mean money and most important ... lives. We can't afford to loose anymore men and women from our army.

It's not about oil. It's about funding, and the lives of innocent Americans.

For the Bush gov't to concider attacking N. Korea there would first have to be oil there, so it would be worth while attacking, but there isn't.

Well, we attacked Afghanistan. How much oil do they produce? Or is it not about oil at all?
