my husband and i decided on the babyname Payson for either a boy or a girl. No matter what, our first born will be Payson. My husband wants the babies middle name to be Kevin (after his father) so the babies name would be Payson Kevin Meader. Does that have a ring to it or flow? I dont think it sounds right????

I think the name sounds about right.... but anyway - if it is important for you husband to honor his father by giving your child his names, i think you should compromise and go with it, it is a beautiful gesture, even if there might be a sloghtly better name out there.... - this one is just fine!

I personally think, for the child's sake, that it should be Kevin Payson. Then if he chooses, he can ask to be called by his middle name. but unusual names can lead to bullying. Also, if it's for a girl, Payson sounds quite masculine.
I know you've already decided. but this is just my view.
PS If you are in America, cancel what I said about unusaul names! That's not bad in comparison to some I've heard on U.S. television!

It's not bad. Nobody ever ends up knowing the baby's middle name anyway. I stressed and stressed over my son's middle name and everybody asked what it was when I had him. Now five years later the same people cannot remember it. Payton is also a cute name for a boy or a girl and a little bit more common. ;)

I am not trying to be rude at all but to me it sounds like a sophisticated measuring tool... But hey... sometimes that's good he/she might have a very successful business some day, because of his/her name. As long as you don't name your kid Simon Titus... that really sounds like a disease... heck, this might be some of those things that give you an extra boost in life. If you're already pregnant, congrats!

I don't think it does have a ring to it but if you say it enough it will. I felt the same way about my sons name his name is Broderick Ian Friedhoff.
