What do girls like about a good friend that is the opposite gender (not as a boy friend)

I love it. Guys aren't as bratty or snotty. If you tell them a secret, they don't go and blab it to everyone else. And, then you don't get into those stupid cat fights.

My best friend is a guy... and while I do have close girlfriends, there are just some things I can talk to my guy best friend about that I can't with my girls. Also it's nice because he likes to protect me as though I am his sister, and I feel safe with him. It has never been anything more than a friendship, so a guy and a girl can be "just friends." And no, he is not gay, though some of my friends are.

1. He's not afraid to be himself.
2. She can talk to him with out being embrassed.
3. She can tell him things she can't tell other guy friends.
4. They can be serious and joke about anything.
What I did was think about my best guy friend and name off things I like about him. Hope it helps.
