Bush certainly wasn't appointed by God but was elected by the American voters.

Your premise is faulty. The President was not "appointed" by God or anyone else. He was elected by a majority of the voters in 2000. Well, er...that's not quite right. He was elected by a majority of the electoral college as directed in the Constitution.

Iraq, both pre-invasion and now, was a mess created by man alone. Don't blame God for our own man made problems.

Bush likes to believe he was appointed by God, and that's the BIG problem! Do you want to tell me that God is a bunch of ignorant, narrow-minded rednecks and hillbillies? And His angels are the bigots and bimbos on Fox News? THEY ELECTED BUSH, nothing to do with God.
