I'm young and single and moving to Charlotte, NC and I'm wondering where the best places are to meet people (and the best means of meeting people). I've heard a lot about Uptown and I'm definitely going to check it out, but I was wondering if there were other areas that might fit the bill, ones that were a little earthier maybe (less professional, perhaps).

Didn't know exactly where to put this question, either. Thanks.

Lived in Charlotte 10 years and I loved it when I was your age, lots to do, really depends where you are going to be living but uptown is great, lots of good places to eat, bowling, movies, there is a neat place downtown called "Discovery Place" and you need to catch a show at the "Comedy Zone" You need to live either uptown or the southeast side..Its been a while since I lived there and things have really changed, but my hubby is a Charlotte Police officer and said those were the better (safer) places..good luck

properly Charlotte is a sprint "purple neckish!" N.C. is an exceedingly advantageous state yet i might recommend the "triangle" section (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill)!! Chapel Hill has somewhat low crime and is an exceedingly lively community, Durham isn't the excellent city in spite of the fact that this is under going a "cleansing technique", and Raleigh is a additionally an exceedingly neat community and advantageous city! in case you at the instant are not seeking to stay in the city there are additionally astonishing suburbs close to them! I stay in Chapel Hill so i understand this often happening hand! desire I helped! and that i like to ascertain you right here neighbor! yet once you do settle directly to stay in Charlotte thats nevertheless large! lots extra valuable than the different places you have on your checklist! <3

No need to stop there. Clouds, hurricaines, but good racing fans, and drivers.
I would drive south another 400 miles and settle in Alabama.
