well it's a sin...but it's normal, healthy, and doesn't hurt anyone. And besides, God forgives all those who ask for his forgiveness... so enjoy *wink*

Good question Rose! I've been wondering about that all my life. Of course some religions consider it a sin and prohibit it (although I suspect most of the practicers of those religions masturbate anyway). Others think it's just a shameful act I guess. We shouldn't be touching our private parts! That's not what I think! I consider it one of the joys of life and feel sorry for those who don't at least accept it as normal and healthy. I just don't understand those anti-masturbation folks at all!

I really don't know? I know it says in the bible not to commit immoral sins but I would like an exact verse where it says masturbation is wrong.

The Sixth Commandment "Thou shall not commit adultery."
It is in the law under the the Virtue of Chastity, which has three forms to it.
1. is that of spouses
2. that of widows
3. of virgins
Offenses against chastity:
*lust- a disordered desire for or inorderate enjoyment of sexual pleasure. (When sought for oneself, isolated from its procreative and unitive purpose)
*masturbation - the deliberate stimulation of the genital ogans in order to derive sexual pleasure.
*Fornication -carnal union between unmarried man and unmarried woman.
* Pornography- display of sexual acts to a third party.
* Prostitution- reducing a person to an instrument of sexual pleasure.
*Rape- forcible violation of sexual intimacy of another person. Under this one is rape, incest, and child sexual abuse/molestation all are considered rape. Note the person being offended is not sinning it is the offender who sins.
