I have a very close friend who i do think im falling for. I know she see's me as a close friend, and that she dosent want a relationship with anyone right now as she has recenly broken up from a long lerm (3yrs) relationship. But desipe this, i still think there could be something for us. I am unsure however, weather it would be right for me to tell her i love her, as i fear she may think im just taking advantage of the fact she single again.
Should i tell her how i feel, or wait a while till i know for sure of how she may react?

Truthfully, I think for the time being you should just be there as her close friend. If she's taking the recent break up hard, then she really needs a friend, not another relationship. I understand how you feel, but look at it this way. If you can prove your loyalty and love as a friend, she might start to look at you in a whole new light. I think, you should not hurry up with telling her you love her, but you definitely should be prepared to ask, what feelings she has towards yourself. If she asks, why you ask her such a thing, then it can be fine to tell her, that she means a lot to you. If she does not or changes the subject, than you will know that at least she is not ready for such kind of talk, or - maybe - has different plans. But, anyway, make sure with yourself that you want and do the right thing.

well you never really know how a girl is going to react no matter how close you are to her, believe i know, i'm a girl :0) but what you should do is wait a little while and just be there for her when needs you, since you said she just broke up w/ her ex of 3yrs. just be patient. you will know when the time is right to tell her believe me, there's time where those words just come out of your mouth and you're not sure how. but if you do tell her that you love her, tell her in person, tell her that you been liking her for a while and slowly but surely you fell in love for the person that she is. and that if later on when she's over that breakup if maybe she can consider going out with you, but just start to go out to places, don't force yourself on her like try to kiss her, let her gain that bf trust with you. but just be prepared for the worse, on her reaction. eventhough i think she will be flattered. but also if she says no that she just considers you a friend then be her friend don't show her attitude or ignore her, i know ur feelings will be hurt, but she's not the only 1 out there, eventhough you probably think she is at the time. just take your time and tell her why you love her, and what you like about her. later it's out of your hands and it will be all up to her wether she wants to go out with you. good luck :0)

Wait for a while. You don't want to be just her rebound relationship.
Be a good friend and be there for her. Dry her tears then when the time is right, make your move.
Be careful though, and be sure this is definitely what you want. It is incredibly difficult to make the transition from friends to lovers and it can destroy the closest friendships.

3yrs long? Dont let her talk about the ex guy too much with you if your the next guy interested in her...she'll not want to associtate you to the previous relationsip. Laid back is better. Keep your time with her fun not serious.
