Installed a new video card and now...?

the desktop wallpaper is larger than the monitor! I actually scroll up and down, left and right, on the monitor to view the whole desktop. Any idea what could cause this?

changing resolution does not fix it. the desktop is just really big

Right click your screen(any were but an icon) click property's then go to settings and set your screen resolution to a lower setting (800x600 is good).
