There are four things basically made the solar system that we see, they are : planets, moons, stars, and suns. However, a sun isn't a planets because it can give out heat and light, also it doesn't belong as a moon because it doesn't run around another planet. Stars and suns are kind of similar with each other because both of them give out light; however, they are different because the lights of stars can't give you heat, the sun can give you heat and light---- just don't water the sun with your bare eyes over 5 minutes, will ya.
