I think your prediction is pretty good, although he will be lucky to complete 54% of his passes. The Bears defense may actually kill him. Wish him luck, he's going to need it!

Funny, I was going to ask this same question.
As a Bears fan, I'm almost positive the Bears will win. However, I don't really see a big blowout. Arizona will play their @sses off, and they have a brand new stadium, with a lot of fans with red shirts who want to beat the Bears bad. This may intimidate Grossman. Grossman needs to win more away games for me to still not doubt him. It is completely different than winning at home in Chicago.
Still, I see maybe Bears getting most points by their defense. This may be like a 2005 Bears game However, Leinart will have little chance of scoring with the pressure the Bears are going to put on. The Bears defense is experienced and know Leinart is young. They may not even blitz a lot because they don't have to with the line they have.
As someone said, Leinart will throw a lot of short passes and call run plays. However, it is hard to run against the Bears, so Leinart may have to nickel and dime the Bears just enough with quick passes to get in field goal range.
My prediction:
66-70% Completion (because mostly short passes), 125 yards, 0-1 TD, 1-2 INT, 0-2 fumbles (most likely for loss).
Probably sacked at least 3-5 times, Harris, Urlacher, Hillenmeyer and Anderson are all madmen any coach would want on their team.
Final score 24-6 Bears.
But, who knows? I love football because anything can happen.

The Bears defense is one of the best in the league, and they are going against an offensive line that is not in the top 10 in the league, so look for Leinart to be rushed, and sacked a few times. Leinart did show some poise in the pocket last week for a rookie, I think he did better than Warner would have.
As for stats. 180 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT, 0 fumbles, Sacked 4 times.
Go Bears!

lol.... is this a guestimation? LOL... a wild *** guess? hmmm
ok... well this is what I think
The bears obviously have a great defense. They apply great interior pressure, and will get to Matt just like they've gotten to everyone else. The cards O line will suffer with at least 4 sacks. I think, the cards will try to run but will be unsuccessful. This will likely cause them to be behind for most of the game. Matt will be forced to throw more often, and will result in 2 picks, and a lot of incompletions. Unfortunately, for arizona, they wont be able to utilize the short passing routes (due to the bears defense, and facing a large point deficit) that allow Matt to make a lot of completions, so I expect his completion percentage to be around 45%.
Bottom line. 45% completion percentage. 4 Sacks. 2 Interceptions, and MANY hurries and hits to the QB.
P.S. I am a hawks fan... so this is out of respect for what they did to my team. I look forward to a rematch against the bears in the NFC championship game. If its in Chicago... the bears will win. If its in Seattle.... eh.... 50/50 toss up. Bears are the better team. Congrats.

Well he lost Fitz for the game with a pulled hammy so he is already in the hole to start...yeah he still has Boldin, Johnson and Edge...but he needed all his weapons.
I personally think that Denny Green will ask him to try and control the game in the same way that Shotenheimer has had Rivers control games in SD. Look to see a lot of short quick passes and little dump passes to Edge. The longer the Cards can hold the ball the better...The Bears have made a living this year by not allowing long sustained drives.
Look for him to complete about 65% of his passes (around 15 of 23) but only for about 185 to 190. He may be able to get a TD because of Boldin/Edge ability to break one. Going to see 3 TO's of mixed variety...maybe a fumble and two picks..probably going to be sacked 4 times...he is going to rely heavily on that short game and running...Edge will most likely touch the ball 25 times...If the Cards are going to win they need to control the clock..
HOWEVER, he is too young at this point, I see him having a decent showing considering the monumental task ahead of him, but the Bears prevail in the end 24-17.

Well with Fitzgerald out, it'll certainly be a task...if he had Fitzgerald in I would say he actually scores a TD with the passing game....without him...what do they have Boldin and that Johnson guy. Credit to James for being a goob blitz pick up...but he can't block 4 guys by himself...which is bound to happen a few times with how bad Arizona's O-Line is.
I wouldn't be amazed if Chicago puts up 50+ points on this team. Leinart would be lucky to even keep the game close for 10 minutes. (No...I'm not a Bears fan)

Da Bears are looking like the class of the NFL and not just the NFC. I am still not sold on Rex, but I am sold on thier Defense.
With that said, Leinart will be harassed all day. The Edge will not even get close to 80 yds rushing. Fitz is out. So basically Mat will be beat down all game.
As I look at the stat's you posted they look very realistic...too bad same ole cards.

I think Leinert will be a good (maybe even a great) QB but he will get punished by the Bears on Sunday. The Bears are such a roll right now and a rookie QB, even one as promising as Leinert, isn't going to stop that. Bears 31, Cards 10.

He has NEVER seen a defense like the bears in his LIFE. I agree, he will have a rough day...I predict 9 of 21 for 103 yds. 2 int. and 1 touchdown after the game is out of hand.

Matt Leinart will want to retire after that game. If I was Dennis Green I would start Kurt Warner so that he could take the beating instead of my rookie qb that is the future of the team.

well my prediction i think he will complete 60 % no td, 2 int, no fumbles... and sacked 7 or more times
most of the passes will be 10 yds or shorter, maybe 2 big plays and absolutly will have a lot of problems
