Anomaly means not normal. I thought of an alien and a crop circle to represent this word. I'm having a lot of trouble finding other examples. If any help is given, I'd truely apperciate it.

P.S. DON'T leave me crap about doing my own homework. I'll report those who do. I'm doing my own homework... I'm only asking for suggestions. Thanks!

An anomaly is something that deviates from the expected, so you could define one as seeing a person with a completly tattooed face, or having a tire blow out because you don't see or experience that every day (unless you happen to work at a side show, or are a tire tester). It is often used in a paranormal sense so using the example of a crop circle or alien would be acceptable.

Anomaly means something unexpected.

In a sentence:

Brad was a shy person, but today his zealous attitude was an anomaly.
The black hole found in space was an anomaly.

It's a noun.
