I'm sure every answer on here will tell you that you cant control your parents since they are the adults. I'm assuming you and your parents arent exactly seeing eye to eye. I suggest you sit them down and talk to them, be honest about how you truly feel in a nice way of course. You may have to try to bring a third party into play if that don't work like a counselor. Sometimes someone outside the household can intervene and establish a level ground so to speak. Good luck sweetie.

You cannot control your parents- you must realize they love you and want the best for you, even tho you live under their roof and rules you must realize that its better this way then being out on your own or having the responsibilities for being on your own..what i would do is try to compromise and if there was something going on i didn't like i would try and work a deal you usually have to give to get, this will work in your life when your older to so you might as well start practicing

Parents are put there for a reason, and you do not control them. But if you find they are too controlling, try showing more responsibility and take initiative of doing things like cleaning your room/dishes before you have to be told. That is reverse psychology, they will see you are growing up and responsible and they will let you do things because they feel they can trust you more.

It's not "controlling" but it helps...

Two key terms: Guilt, Empathy

Guilt: If there's something you want and they don't accept, act like they're doing the wrong thing. If that doesn't work leave the room and act like you're badly emotionally hurt.

Empathy: If you do something wrong, start crying your eyes out. They will feel sorry for you and no parent in their right mind will punish you when you're that sad. If they bring it up when your done, act like they struck a nerve and practice getting tears in your eyes for when the time comes.

I'm 15 and these things always worked as a younger kid. I was alot smarter than most other kids but good luck...

Watch "Invader Zim". He has the best mind control gadgets ever!
But seriously...are they suffering from Alzheimers? Then put shock collars on both of them. The same kind they use to train dogs.
When the old man starts talking about tin-foil hats to ward off the CIA brain-control waves....zap him! When Momma looks like she's ready to mix another motor-oil and kool-aid-martini....give her a jolt!
If this idea doesn't appeal to you then you have another option.Let them roam around the backyard (fenced in of course!) naked.Throw them some moldy bread from time to time, and be sure to hose them off before you let them in the house!

why must you control them? they are not controlling you either, just love you hence wanted very much to guide you in life as you still can't be on your own yet ! its their responsibility as your parent ! why don't they bother others kids on the street? simply because its just none of their[your parent] business !
you may 'control' them if you are smart, good at taking care of yourself without getting into any trouble, financially independent etc etc !
