I am 99% sure that it is the pump. The fact that it is giving heat to upper room indicates that it is the pump.
Get an electrical screwdriver, undo the brass nut on the end of the pump,( Usually green or red near the boiler) insert screwdriver and turn either way, it will usually start (plumber's trick)
Don't be afraid of the small amount of water that dribbbles out it's OK Replace brass screw

It sounds like the whole system needs flushing. You can get a kit from B&Q but if you don't know what you are doing it's tricky. If you get a professional in it can cost around £200. Black slime clogs inside the pipes etc and causes water blockages that stop certain radiators heating up.

Check Feed & Expansion tank in loft has not run out of water. Can you hear the pump pumping. I'm sure you've check all the valves are fully open. Then call the plumber.

Same problem as you, i spoke to a guy at work today who said that i may not have bled the radiators in the correct sequence, so there could still be an air lock somewhere.
As we didn't put them in we have no idea what sequence to bleed them in!!

Not enough info. Is it a fully pumped sysytem, (Y-plan), or gravity hot water. If the latter, the pump may have stopped working. Remove the big screww in the middle of the pump and check if it is spinning. If not, you can try spinning it with a screwdriver, it may have seized and that could free it.

Have you got thermostatic valves? If so keep turning them up & down. It may be that something is stuck OR take off the U bend wire & pull the valve off & clean it up & lub it. Then put back together. It should work...fingers crossed!

Difficult to say. Do they have thermostatic rad. valves which have shut down? Do they have lockshield valves which have been shut? Is there a zone valve which has closed off that part of the system (if it's electric and has failed)?
If it's not those, not sure.

if its all on one level that is not working and your boiler is on diff level could either be the pump (bit unlikely if rest are working) or a blockage in pipe system if your pipes are exposed trace them till find cold bit in hot pipe or could try emptying the tank and radiators are starting afresh so to speak
