I have avast... free from avast.com.. previously used Norton & Mcafee which I thought were a waste of money, got a few virus while using both. I've been so pleased with avast i installed it on my sons computer and he hasn't had a problem.

AVG is a good free anti virus programme

None are free, only trial offers usually for a month or so. Try AVG from Grisoft. If you don't pay, you get crap + a virus!

I know a lot of people don't agree with AVG, but I personally love them and has never had a problem:

AVG ????
No way - I started to download it and it had Winfixer, BackDoor Trojan, Myzoq and PSW.x viruses !!
I'm still trying to clear up the mess. :-(

Must agree with most peeps AVG is very good. Never had a problem with it (anything is better than crappy norton) :-)

your avg anti virus it will not give the pc a virus but it cant stop a virus the one that does stop a virus is the number 1
perental control setting with passoword so none can reset it

all messenger im security .im security can block all incoming im messages
put a password on this and none can get in
you can lock the yahoo messenger from login in till you enter the password on the firewall and you can lock the explorer & firefox you can even lock the pc with this 1 password set up and none get to use the pc with put putting in the password to this first
