Would anyone recomend gloves are worn with a prom dress or not

Yes, gloves can be worn with a prom dress. You can even wear a bracelet over your gloves (no rings though). Etiquette states to keep them all all the time except when eating.

Wearing gloves definitely depends on the style of the dress. If the dress is strapless than it looks better with it. Personallly I don't like wearing the gloves they don't really look right. If gloves are worn with a long dress than it should be elbow length. If the gloves are short length than the dress should be about knee length.

Depends on the dress. I wore elbow length gloves to one prom. . .No idea what shoulder length gloves look like though!

donning gloves particularly relies upon at this style of the robe. If the robe is strapless than it seems extra valuable with it. Personallly i do unlike donning the gloves they don't possibly look stunning. If gloves are worn with an prolonged gown than it would be elbow length. If the gloves are short length than the robe must be approximately knee length.

I say wear gloves. the longer and more formal the dress, the longer the gloves should be. The longest gloves come up to your upper arms. They are elegant looking and I know your date would love it too.

I would definitely pass on the gloves with a prom dress...i mean just be sexy and show off your arms...and they gloves are a little bit 90s!!!

Last prom i wore black gloves!!
Mine were really short though only wrist length... but that was because my dress was only knee length...
It kind of depends how long your dress is... long dress long gloves... princess?
maybe you should go with elbow length? those are pretty.

It depends on what type of dress you have. If it is fancy enough, yes I would wear them but if it isn't, don't. Here are some pictures with people wearing gloves so you can see what they look like:

If the dress is strapless then it would look really cute
but if it had sleeves then no.Spaghetti straps would look nice too
