This is a dumb question in my eyes but apparently everybody doesn't think so. Let me know if you believe in God, and if so then why and if you don't...why

LOOK I HAVE SEEN THINGS TO MAKE ME BE LEAVE I DON'T LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLE AND I DO MY OWN RESEARCH. IN THE END NO ONE IS GOING TO HOLD YOUR HAND...DO SOME RESEARCH..AND LOOK AT ALL RELIGIONS THAT BELIEVE IN GOD READ ABOUT THEM AND YOU DECIDE AND NOTHING SHOULD EVER BE ABLE TO SHAKE YOUR FAITH NO MATTER WHAT YOUR BELIEVE IS!
AT LET ME TELL YOU THIS NO ONE RELIGION IS TRULY CORRECT! THE LORD CARES ABOUT WHO BELIEVES AND WHO HAS FAITH!

Religion was invented a long time ago so that the masses can be controlled and kept in line. There is no god and there never will be. do you really need some preachers telling what's right and wrong and to love your fellow man. I sure as hell don't. There is no divine spark in the human soul there's just a soul.
I was raised Catholic but after seeing the things I've seen I lost my faith forever. Everyday I work to sink my ego because ego and insecurity are the root of evil, not some little red guy with a pitch-fork.

Yes there is a God an everyday you wake its him blessing you when you breath its him blessing you. I myself question if there is a God over the last year I have had that question on my mind because It has been hard but I think back to what I said at the start and then I can make it through that day.

Absolutely! There is a God. I also have a hard time understanding why people don't believe in God, look all aorund you, if there isn't a God, how come the world all works together so perfectly? There is definately a God,

I am a Christian myself. I took a theology class in college and I had to write a paper on this subject. My outlook is:
If you believe and there isnt a God....you have lost nothing.
But if there IS a God, and you dont believe...then we all know where you are headed. I choose to believe....I had my share of hell on earth already--lol!

I'm agnostic. Maybe if he would somehow prove to me that he is out there, I could believe in him. But regardless whether or not he's really there, God and the church inspire people to have something to believe in so there is nothing but good in the concept.
now, you tell me - why do you believe that he really exists?

Did you wake up this morning? Then the answer is yes. Due to all of my stupidity in my youth; by right, I should have died when I was in my early 20's. But, due to God's love and mercy, He saved this poor wretch.
God is evident!

I believe in my ancestors spirits because of them I was here to answer you the question. Yes, there is a god, and you and see it in many point-of-views, like what I see in my ancestors.

Yes I believe in God very much so & why I do is because he has carried me when I thought I couldn't carry myself. I have seen his miracles in many peoples life & many times in my own.He gave me strength that I never thought I would have because I have faith in him & believe that I am his daughter & he loves me for all good & bad I have in my heart.
