Bebos, Summit Elementary, The Nat (ballroom/antiques), Traidwinds Airport, 6th Street Massacre (haunted house, and "old satanic church"), it was said old BSA St. aunthy on Amarillo Blvd., and a few old buildings down town such as The Herring Hotel, and im not sure what one of them is called but i believe its on polk its on a corner street and the bottom is borded up, and the old BlackBurns building. I'm doing research here as well. I'm a photographer and looking to photograph some hauntings. And if you want to travel there is a bridge in Bother/Stinnit (can't remember the name) there is an old factory on a back road, the old school house, the baby cemetery, and a place called Electric City right out side of borger. If your heading to Lil Mexico there is a dirt road to the right take that and keep going to I think the last right turn. Its blocked off now. But if you take the first right go all the way to the dead end (The cross/ a real cross) you will see Electric City

I googled it..this is what I got...
Amarillo - Gebo's - Formerly Bonanza Supermarket - back in the 1980's , before Gebo's ever opened a second store, a supermarket called Bonanza was there. people say that an employee there was killed in the meat department one night. Present day, stories of the ghost haunt Gebo's.. Moving items and misplacing them at night... since then, the employees try to avoid night inventory. In the morning, things would be out of place... Lots of employees have seen what the ghost has done.
Amarillo - Tradewinds Airport - Rumor has it that back when the place was a private air strip, a woman caught her husband with his mistress in their private plane and killed both of them then committed suicide. This would explain the distinct smell of perfume, which comes and goes(even in the strongest breeze) Also strange lights( like a plane gearing up) can be seen coming from an abandoned hanger. From this same area the sounds of arguing have been heard but there is no one there.
But that is all I found..there is a town that is very haunted called Alice..I don't know if that is near or far from where you wanted..but it may be a good road trip..for halloween or something..stay the night there in one of the haunted areas..sounds fun..
good luck!

I don't know about Amarillo, but if a scare is what you're after, you might take a trip to Jefferson, TX. It is full of freaky places.
