I was deciding if i got 1 bp is der any other fish dat would be gud companions r do they prefer a pair.im lookin 4 a mixed tank of few fish.

try larger tinfoil barbs, needle fish, severums, or synodontis cats

Blood parrots are neat fish and I have even seen them in blue and green. As far as tank mates you need semi aggresive fish like Barbs, Botias, Catfish, Cichlids, Danios, Eels, Gouramis, Knifefish, Loach, Rainbowfish, Rainbowfish, Sharks, and Tetras. There are many types of these fish. The source I listed is the best sight you can look up the fish and it will give you a list of the fish that can go with them.
