Sure a "Subway Series" would be great for NY, but not so great for the Yankee fans this time, but the Tigers put the beatin' stick to use in dispaching the Yanks.
Georgie, the Mets are different than the Yankees, and so are the Mets fans. How can people be sick of all NY baseball, when the Mets have had only a handfull of playoff years since the 1986 win? Maybe in a few years if the Mets dominate the league for a big dynasty type run like the Braves have, but untill then they are upstarts. This is the first Mets NL East Championship since 1988! Be sick of the Yankees, be sick of Yankee fans (yes they are everywhere, but try wearing the other hat in NY, it's a constant barrage of Mets suck, Yanks rule crap everyday. Yes even after the Tigers beat them over the weekend!) When these games are on, watch the Mets, see what kind of a fun team they are to watch, and you'll recant your NY baseball, and turn it into NY Yankee baseball.

New Yorkers and the baseball world call it a Subway Series. It's a dream this year because it won't happen, the Yankees are dead after another 1st round defeat. I call it the Stench of New York Series.

Definately the Mets...they are the class of baseball this year outdoors of the Tigers. The Yankees are puffed up, haven't any pitching (even the best ones they have like Randy Johnson are suking.), no snatch hitting, and seem to haven't any heart. ARod is a head case who needs to confirm a cut back, Johnny Damon nevertheless thinks he's a crimson Sock, and Giambi isn't something w/o the juice. They continuously attempt to purchase their way in by using having adult men like Abreau, yet this year it is not going to take place. on the different hand the Mets have type and gifted gamers that are enjoying at their top genuine now - Reyes, Beltran, Delgado, Wright. those adult men are a real team and in spite of if i'm an Astros fan, i could like to confirm the Mets do good...and that i extremely love seeing the Yankees and their payroll get beat.
