Lots of small metal parts are made of zinc alloy, typically zinc plus aluminum and copper. It's used because it's easier to die cast than aluminum. This would include things like small machine parts and frames for electronic devices. Zinc isn't particularly strong or hard, so it's not used much for parts that take a lot of stress or are prone to wear.

Used with copper in 'red brass' for plumbing.

Zinc oxide used in skin creams and in some artists paints.
