I suppose, but you have to understand that people would still be considered ugly or not as pretty, it's just a normal part of society. And if we started having no beauty to judge on and everyone was pretty, we'd start saying "Only asians are pretty" or soemthing like that. But the world will get progressively prettier through selective breeding, plastic surgery and maybe genetic engineering. The only thing is, if all my friends were pretty, I would HATE it. I am bi and everything but I like hanging out with ugly people or kids who are fat because that makes me feel like the pretty one. And if everyone was pretty, how would I choose who's romantically suitable or who's just a friend? It sounds almost marxist, good in theory, but not in real life. There's a reason the world works the way it does, whether it's due to evolution or creative design, there's a reason.

Not a chance. It may be possible if everyone looked alike. Clones. Even then the odds are slim I'd ever get bored. Halley Barry ain’t got a chance of getting on the back of my scooter with me. Rose McGowan? I'm not hip enough to know who that is, but the last name seems to be someone that would be more interesting. The others you mention mean nothing to me.
I've been working at a new hospital for the past year doing extreme remodeling to it. I see lots of folks every day. The parade of people is amusing. It's wonderful to enjoy the beauty of an attractive woman and amazing at the size of the buttocks of the gal behind her. Never a dull moment. Many I see make me thankful for, but for the grace of God go I. What would I do if that were me coming in with my legs bandaged or in a wheel chair?
Even if everyone looked alike we would still have geniuses and morons for entertainment. A good one for that is coming up here soon in Daytona Beach. Biketoberfest - October 19-22nd. Nearly a week of motorcycles and people. A nearly constant parade of folks from all over the world. It’s a Halloween theme, go figure,,, “Normal” people dress up like Bikers, and the Bikers come to laugh at the Newbes. It can be a frightening experience knowing there are people like this loose on the planet.

Rose McGowan
Yes, she would do.
My ex-wife would give her a run for the money. It's quite a surprise when you find out that such a beautiful person, on the outside, can be such a total piece of s--t within.
Wonder if Rose needs a date? Hummmm,,,,
Gute Nacht.
LAS VEGAS
THIS MAY COME AS A SURPRISE TO THOSE OF YOU NOT LIVING IN LAS VEGAS , BUT THERE ARE MORE CATHOLIC CHURCHES THAN CASINOS.
NOT SURPRISINGLY, SOME WORSHIPPERS AT SUNDAY SERVICES WILL GIVE CASINO CHIPS RATHER THAN CASH WHEN THE BASKET IS PASSED.
SINCE THEY GET CHIPS FROM MANY DIFFERENT CASINOS, THE CHURCHES HAVE DEVISED A METHOD TO COLLECT THE OFFERINGS.
THE CHURCHES SEND ALL THEIR COLLECTED CHIPS TO A NEARBY FRANCISCAN MONASTERY FOR SORTING AND THEN THE CHIPS ARE TAKEN TO THE CASINOS OF ORIGIN AND CASHED IN.
THIS IS DONE BY THE CHIP MONKS.

you're an idiot, I've never heard such blatant spouting of culture brainwashing. Your idea of beauty corresponds to American celebrities and you truly believe that beauty is something that can be defined in an objective way? What beauty is changes from culture to culture and time period to time period, and as well the idea of beauty varies from each person. What is beautiful now at onetime was not desirable and thus the non-beautiful in different circumstances would become the beautiful. No world where everyone was beautiful could exist lest the whole world be brainwashed and you somehow overcame the truth of life that all things are by nature subjective which are oercieved by humans.

I live in Hollywood, so in a way I do live in such a world. Yes, it's boring sometimes. People who invest that much in their appearance are bound to be lacking in other areas. They're also often under the misconception that being pretty makes them somehow important. I have absolutely no respect for the vain, especially guys.
It's not all bad, but it's definitely a trade-off.

Who would be the judge to choose the candidates that would be considered beautiful? If you wish for such variations, are you not talking about how the world already is with its vast variations? If we went by your categories as to what makes a beautiful human being based on outside looks, then you might be disappointed in all the personalities this brings. People who are told by society on a constant basis & who are judged in public for this often have personalities which either behave arrogantly, or have hidden insecurities trying to compete with other so called beautiful people. The arrogant ones really believe the gossip about them that they are oh so beautiful & can do no wrong. The insecure ones often damage themselves by plastic surgery or have self imposed phobia's about their looks & also behave erratically. Look at Hollywood's beautiful people & all their emotional problems they have.
Besides, if you don't have people with basic/plain looks or even disfigured looks in this world, then everyone would be self-centred, because there would be nothing to test or challenge them on their understanding of empathy, giving, caring, tolerance, patience, etc. which allows us humans to give & receive LOVE. Sometimes it's hard to look at something/one, who challenges you on the inside, but after all...all we really are is a pile of raw meat & flesh with hair like any other animal on this planet & the biggest lesson for all of us to learn is to love and accept each other. And those beautiful people you choose for this beautiful experiment, would eventually decide that others, though beautiful, just don't cut it & are designated as not so beautiful, perhaps even ugly.
As a Utopian, strange as it sounds, I would rather live in this world with its ugly flaws than in a world where everyone is fighting for their turn to look in a mirror 24/7. Yes I'd like our world as it exsists now to be better & so I should, but going from one extreme to another isn't the best solution just to base it on a feeling as to whether you'd be bored or not.

To each their own, and your idea sounds interesting. I however, am just an ordinary person, so I don,t know how I'd function in a beautiful world. To explain.....if I were beautiful, I wouldn't be who I am now, and so couldn't relate to the world as now I do. I've gotten to be comfortable with the person I've become, and anticipate the person I will be, so this world is quite fine .

There would be something seriously wrong about a world where everyone was beautiful. I'd have to wonder who's messing around with the gene pool.

Due to the relativity of everything the world of the rich that you describe is no happier/better over all than other strata's of society in my experience.
