All females that are capable of breeding have a period, but not all bleed like humans do. Some animals do release some blood, but if I remember correctly, this is at the end of their cycle, not during like ours. I am sure cows have some sort of menstrual cycle, but not sure what exactly it is.

This question should be in the "Ruminent Monthly" a Magazine dealing in Animal Husbandry ? As it happens though cows come into eastrus like all mammals do .It is a bodily function to cleanse the lining of the womb and any unfertilized eggs.

All living things that are mammals and give birth to another living thing have periods.
Egg+Sperm= Baby
Same thing with cows.

All mammals have 'periods' of some sort, it's normally called being 'on heat' and they will bleed a bit, but its not as much as a human does, and obviously its not really noticable. Also it won't necessarily be monthly either, different animals come on heat at different intervals, dogs only come on heat twice a year.

They have periods of eating periods of ruminating periods of drinking and periods of bodily functions they feed the grass and they feed on the grass hows that?

They have ovulation cycles which does cause them to bleed so yes they do have periods.
