Greetings!
I work for the adult care system and chair a committee that oversees adult care homes. We visit 14 facilities quarterly, in NC
We also have quarterly meetings with Dept of Social Services and the State Health Dept. It is a labor of love.
I also tutor high school students at an inner city housing project. I concentrate on teaching them how to learn.
It is very rewarding, to say the least.

I don't right now cause of an injury but I use to. I was a volunteer at my sons school all day everyday.

At my kids high school, and in homeless shelters. Last year when hurricane Katrina went through La. my children and I volunteered down at the Astrodome, and at the convention center serving food and clothes to the people. I help anytime I can. It is very important to me.

I volunteer with CNIB,for people that are legally blind.I also volunteer at the local food bank.

I volunteer with the local animal rescue for abused and neglected dogs. I am also a foster mom for dogs. LOVE IT!!!

3 days a week at the shelter, after they leave, I help clean up and restock for that night when they return
