Robert Redford directed the movie .. it was his directing debut. He won an Oscar for Best Director that year. 1980.
Ordinary People. FYI: The character that says that line is : Conrad as he is talking with his mother (Mary Tyler Moore) .. in their back yard. He says it unexpectedly during an arguement with his mother. If you haven't seen this movie yet ... rent it .. it is a great movie for teens and parents alike. The minor character in Nat. Lampoons Animal House who played a major role in this movie was: Donald Sutherland. Good Luck ! :)
