Just be her friend. Don't try to fix her. She is seeing professionals for that. If she wants to talk about it, listen. If she doesn't, don't bring it up. Hang out with her. Call her on the phone. Do the stuff you would do if she wasn't bulimic. Treat her no differently. Part of the disease is being different or not fitting into a certain mold she has in her head and she can't control those feelings. It is not your job to keep her safe or healthy. Being her friend is enough. Just be a good one.

In order to deal with something like this, you first need to confront her about it. Tell her that you are worried and you want her to stop because you dont want anything bad to happen to her. Tell her that you would like to help but if she doesnt want it, you'll have to accept that. Try talking with her parents. Ask the doctor questions at your appt. and get his feed-back. Have her talk with your school counsoler. A lot of young women go through this, I'm sure she will get better.

She needs counseling also. But if that doesn't work she needs checked into a hospital where there have her watched by Dr's and nurses and they will make her eat and not let her throw up.
