Instead, it focuses on the rights or freedom of women: "There would be no one to live for during those coming years; she would live for herself. There would be no powerful will bending hers in that blind persistence with which men and women believe they have a right to impose a private will upon a fellow-creature."
She is happy that she will be free, but not from the death of her spouse, (welll kind of) but mainly she just feels free from having to be with him. His constant force upon her and though she loves him, she is happy. As her happiness grows higher it suddenly halted with the presence of her husband and because of her fragile heart conditions, she dies.
