discuss the possibility with your fiance, if that's who you're worried about. Not all guys are against the idea of having sex with a girl who's on her period, and a lot of girls will tell you that sex can actually shorten your period by a day or two. It may seem gross or embarrassing at first, but once you get past that, and hop in the shower, it can actually be quite nice. You CERTAINLY wouldn't be the first girl to bleed on her wedding night anyway...

No, it's too late for birth control to prevent it. You needed to get on BC at least 3 or so months ago for it to be able to regulate it. Your body needs a few months to adjust to a pill that alters things like hormones, and for the first couple months on the pill, your period may still be irregular.

You can talk to your gynecologist and see if she can suggest anything, but I'm pretty sure that you're going to be left up to fate with this. Good luck!

the only think would be the birth control pill however, your wedding is due in 2 wks so it may not work. if you could have gotten on the pill a few weeks ago you could have done it for sure. you did not say how long ago was your last period so it is hard to say if it will work or not. if you want to try better get the pills very soon and get started

Birth Control pills will reduce your period length but will not get rid of it. There really isn't anything that I can think of that will fully get rid of it for that time though. But once you have kids and are finished with that you can have ur uterus removed. All that you can do is hope that you won't get it ON ur wedding day. Make sure that you have tampons and pads with you at all times in case you start.
I hope you have a great wedding and honeymoon though! : - )

The pill can prevent your period, but it needs a full month to be effective. I doubt it would stop your period, and if you are in the middle of the cycle, it could really throw off your hormones to start the pill now. It probably wouldn't be _bad_, just that you might have crazy PMS symptoms, which you probably don't need right now.

It doesn't prevent your period.

One way to prevent your period is really unsafe, but here are some ways.

(I Advise you NOT to try them, because they could not only harm you, but it could hurt you phisycally, but emotionally)

1.Stress,Loss of Sleep, Fatigue.

2. Not Carbohydrates, Food, or Energy.

3. Getting Pregnant.
