Nocturnal means active at night and diurnal is active in the day but what do you call something that is most likely to be out and about on the borders between night and day.

Nocturnal , active at night eg.bat,fox
the opposite is diurnal active at day. a certain class of animals are active at twilight(border between day and night) and are referred as CREPUSCULAR.

well, i'm not sure if there is an exact term for that, but

a crepuscular describes animals that are primarily active during twilight.

also to that answer 'hyperactivus' i don't think that exists.
