Can I install add a second IDE hard drive when my primary is Serial ATA?

I have an available IDE port on the mother board.

Yes. you can even buy an adapter from serial to IDE.

If you have an IDE port, then yes. It should work.

It will work, i think there is a Bios setting though. Will have to be set on combination for both IDE and SATA
