i had pictures done by the PICTURE PEOPLE and they were not able to post my pictures to my internet account.when i asked managment about the problem they advised me that i can go to the store to view the photos.i then politly told the manager that we paid the additional money because we lived so far away, and she told me that this was not her problem and that they would not refund the money for the portrait club($39.95) needless to say we are now out the fourty dollars for a service never received.i again contacted the store and at this time i asked why five poses were used and i was only able to view three and the manager stated to me that the person doing the photos said our child was uncooperative ,this was not at all true.if anyone else has had problems with the PICTURE PEOPLE can you please contact me with some advice.

Ok, you know what,I will NEVER use the PP ever again. I had a problem a little over a year ago. I had rudeness from not one but two store managers, part of the problem I had was when they switched to digital pics last year they had sent all my negaitives to another store for storage that was very far from me, upon calling that store they didn't have them another store did, and so on.
I was pissed. They were so rude to me, but the had the audacity to still email, mail and CALL to tell me, "Oh, the store is having a special and we see you haven't been in for a while, time to come in for pictures."
I got the number for the Regional Manager (I live in the SF Bay area so this rep handeled ALL the stores I had talked to and been treated rudely) I talked to her and you better believe that ALL my negatives were sent to me via next day Fed Ex, (no charge) and I was assured by the Regional Manager she would be speaking to these stores.
I am sure that they would do the same for you, you paid for a service you did not receive.
I was very happy with the result I got from her, but I still have NOT gone back there, nor will I and reading your story only suppports my decision more.
I would also maybe contact the BBB (Better Business Beauru(sp)) and report them.
I am not sure how u paid but maybe, if you paid by credit card you can call your cc card company and explain what happend and they can fight for you and get your $40 back for you for services NOT rendered.
I wish you luck!

I would go as high up as you possible can - contact the regional manager as well as write a letter to their corporate offices. I always get so much further when I write or call corporate. Also, contact the Better Business Bureau. And one last thing, if you paid for this on a credit card, sometimes you can have the credit card fight for you and dispute the charges.

You paid for the Portrait Club, but didn't get it - they need to give you a refund.

You paid for 5 poses, and only got 3 - they need to make it up to you.

If the manager will not help you, speak to their supervisor. Speak to the owner. Write the owner a letter.

Don't let them keep your 40 dollars for something they did not give you!

The photographer started complaining as soon as I walked in the door with my six month old. The first thing she said was. "I hope he is happy today because I am so sick of all of the crying babies I have had today". I just told her she needed a new profession.
