1) They have tested a nuclear bomb, supposedly. It could have been a great deal of high explosives to simulate a nuclear bomb. We don't know for sure. We know what they claim, but I doubt we can trust them.
2) The last missile test NKorea had was a failure. The countries that might be concerned are China, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. North Korea does not have the capability to hit the US.
If you were not scared before this week, then you shouldn't be scared at all. Russia is having problems, but they *have* the capability to strike anywhere in the world. The same is true of many other former Soviet states.

The countries that have nuclear weapons won't be invaded by any other country. The risk of a last ditch "eye for an eye" retaliation is too great. Perhaps North Korea doesn't want to be the next Iraq, and is planing ahead.

I think that North Korea is just experementing, why should the (usa) tell other countries what to do and how to think? In Europe, Americans are seen as a bunch of bullies. ex) if you have a lon range missle than we are now going to put an embargo on the needs of your country. They have only tested it, I believe that every country has the right to defend it-self, just like America does. If they wanted to they are way ahead of us in the technology department at this point in time. In Europe, America is seen as being head strong and also as a bunch of bullies, I believe what is good for one is good for another. Our Governments are like little boys in their thinking and their actions. I believe that if we ever do go to war, it will be with "China", but I think that America has so many enemies at this point, we probably will destroy our-selfs...

Their missile launches have been failures and their attempt at an underground test bomb was a failure so, I am not concerned about it for now. I wonder what would happen if they actually launched a nuclear missile - and it accidentally exploded in China, who are N Korea's ally. Would the Chinese punish N Korea?

The US is pretty protected from missiles, but it is still a threat. If they start popping off, other countries will get involved and it will be a new old hot zone. Strategically speaking, it would make more sense to build and launch one from the country you are targeting, but I just get that from novels I read.

I'd be worried that they would aim one @ us even though if they did we would literally wipe out their entire country. I'm more scared of Iran, n korea has held back on usage, the Iranian lunatic muslims would have one launched @ Israel as soon as they got it out of the factory.

I think their leader wants attention. I don't think he wants to get blown off the map. I would be more worried if his health was bad.
I am not sure what he would do at or near the end.
We should work with the people underneath him. We should try and calm the situation by reassuring the underlings that we want to work with them when he is gone.
