I loved her and was ready to make a lifetime commitment to moving forward into the next level of our relationship. I knew I was going to be spending the rest of my life with my soul mate and best friend! The motivation was we were together for 5 years and we were expecting our first child. I wanted to be the best dad ever. I was not seeking happiness. Being happy is a temporary state of mind (bored, happy, sad, angry, afraid). Joy is not based on emotions and yes, I have a joyful life, but my joy comes from the Lord. It would be misplaced if I expected to receive joy or peace from another human being.
I just knew we had that unconditional love, and would be together forever. I have found out there were a lot of things I didn't think about before I got married but I'll never regret what we did. I guess I am stronger today for what happened in the past. It was really love. Because only love could of keep us together as long as it did.

I realized that my husband was the right one when I used to puck an argument and he never argued. He used to say he was sorry, when actually nothing was wrong.
What I most like about him is that he is understanding. Thank god. He understands everything like women problems. He is also very independent which is one thing I could not find from other men I dated.
Did I mention he is a better cook than I am. He knows how to throw it down. Most men don't know how to boil water.

I got married to confirm my total commitment to my wife...the woman I love more than anything. We are 1st of all best friends, we love to hang out together. 2nd, she is a real, down to earth & non-jugdemental. And most important of all We share total trust in each other and have no doubt that we can get through anything together. It doesn't hurt that she's a beautiful person inside and out. She's a totally hot redhead and our relationship is awesome.

He proposed multiple times, and I decided he was really serious, so I finally said "yes".
As you can imagine, this is not the best reason to marry someone....and it worked out exactly as you'd anticipate.
