Its great. you get to hear peoples deepest secrets that even their husbands/wives, doctors, don't even know...!

for some reason when on a mobile, people think their conversations can't be heard by other people.

I absolutely hate going anywhere now because wherever you go now someones phone starts ringing, and have you noticed that a lot of people have to shout so that everyone hears what they are saying, also just watch if a lot of people have the same Ring-tones they all go for their phones at the same time.
I think Mobiles are a great thing BUT can be a pain in the b..t a lot of the time.

I think I must be the only person that doesn't have a mobile phone!!!- I can't think of anything worse than people mithering me when they want something trivial- If I need a phone I'll use a phone box!!-
People who use mobile phones while driving are an accident ready to happen- teenagers especially young girls walk along texting oblivious to whats going on around them- and people at football matchesetc - why can't you switch it off for 90mins!!- I think the majority use them to show they have friends!!! bet they are just talking loudly to themselves!!!

It's great...! Whenever I'm out and need a phone I'm thankful to see so many others around me talking on their mobiles - because it never takes long to get one of them to let me make a quick call. Frankly, apart from their undoubted usefulness in an emergency - mobile phones are a bore...!

Of course, I don't own a mobile myself... never have. Never will...!

It really depends on my mood, but on the whole I dislike it. I particularly hate those people who have loud braying conversations on their mobile, and you can just see the assholes looking around to see who is listening/watching...somehow they think that everyone else WANTS to hear them and will be soo impressed by their inane chatter!

Oh Gawd, and as if screaming kiddies weren't enough to drive you made on a flight, I hear that in the very near future you'll be able to use your mobile on flights..

Drivers are more reckless.People who use them should respect others in public.A rap ring will annoy most people but not the one who answers it.Hearing someone air out there problems in a public area isn't always well recieved.Etc.
Many people have little or no respect and courtesy anymore.

I feel different about it in different places. If they are talking on their phone walking down the street, or in the hallway, it doesn't bother me at all, and I think thats fine. But if someone is talking on their phone in the movie theaters, or some other place that is, and is supposed to be quiet, it bothers me, and I dont think it is right.

well i guess the whole point of a mobile is so you can talk in public places, as opposed to at home, where you would use your home phone!

It really annoys me when they have to spend time on them while in a restaurant, who wants to listen to someone elses conversation while their out trying to enjoy a well deserved meal, that really infuriates me and why will people insist on trying to use them in the hospitals round specialist equipment, its dangerous and stupid.
