Most likely they will return the $32 check and charge you a return fee. So you probably have $25 minus the returned item fee, and you additionally owe $32 to the person to which you wrote the bad check. If they try to resubmit the item for collection, this time your bank might actually pay out, charging you an additional fee for the non-sufficient funds.
All told:
$50 balance
-$25 check paid
- $25 returned check fee
- $32 resubmitted check paid
- $25 non-sufficient funds fee
- $50 collection agency fee
- $50 account closure fee
- $15 credit agency recording fee
I'd say you are probably $172 in the red at this point... :)

Assuming you meant: You begin a checking account with $50. After writing checks for $25 and $32, what is the balance?
Well,
Take 50 - 25 - 32 = -7
You are now $7 in the hole (or negative) and it will soon cause a $25 overdraft fee which will bring your account down to -$32.

YOU WROTE 2 CHECKS RIGHT ? WELL THE FIRST CHECK WAS COVERED FOR THE $25 BUT THE $32 ONE IS WHERE YOUR PROBLEM IS , WITH ONLY $7.OO IN THE BANK AND YOU WROTE A CHECK FOR $32.00 IT PUT YOU BACK IN THE HOLE FOR $7.00 ALONG WITH THAT $25 FEE THE BANK WILL CHARGE AND WHOEVER SHE WROTE TO WILL AND OR COULD CHARGE YOU AS WELL AND THEY CAN SEND THAT CHECK THRU AS MANY AS THREE TIMES , THEN THEY WILL CALL YOU TO COME GET IT AND PAY FOR IT AND THE PERSON YOU WROTE IT TO WILL WANT CASH THE NEXT TIME. MY ADVICE MAKE SURE THE MONEYS THERE OR DON'T WRITE A CHECK YOU ARE NOT SURE OF. !!!

If you mean : Opening balance $50 and withdrawals of $25 and $32 then you are $7 overdrawn. If the withdrawals were $1.25 and $1.32 then you've got $47.43 left.

after cashing the first check,
balance = $50 - $25 = $25
but you won't have enough money to cash the second check,
balabce = $25 - $32 = -$7
and your bank would probably charge you a fee for this

the check overdraws your account to -$7.00. since it is a small amt the bank may pay the checks as a courtesy ( assume you dont have overdraft protection as you did not mention it)so your balance would be -$7.00 - overdraft fee. if they do not pay the $32.00 check then your balance would be $50.00 -$25.00-overdraft fee. u will be assessed the fee irrespective of the check being paid or not.

If your first check processed is of $25.00, the balance would be $25.00.
If your first check processed is of $32.00, the balance would be $18.00.
Because, any one of your checks can be processed. And the other will be bounced because of less balance.
