Not currently; employees have to wear a vest. But my place of employment is trying to instill a dress code. The change doesn't come easy for some, especially those who have been with the company for an awfully long time, with no dress code to go by. And employees are expected to pay for the clothes that the company wants.

Well I don't work any more but I didn't at my last job either. I did wear a uniform in what I did feel was very important to me for over 20 years and I was very proud to wear it too. Won't tell you what uniform it was but will give you a hint. My Uncle Sam provided it for me. Do you know who Uncle Sam is?

I used to when I was at Circuit City. Now that I work at Sandisk, I don't have to. I actually go to work in a semi-formal shirt and jeans and basketball shoes every day and no one cares, since I work in a lab away from all the offices where you are required to dress nicely.
So it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense if I was suddenly required to wear a uniform, aside from a lab coat.

not so much a uniform , but we must have on tan paints/jeans & a black shirt. It's ok w/ me since I went to a private school & had to wear a uniform then too, plus @ least you don't have to worry about what different kind of clothes to wear each day.

When I was working yes I did. I worked in a hospital and was the secretary on the third floor. I had to wear a yellow uniform. This was to distinguish me from the nursing staff.

Depending on the job, restaurant, grocery stores, hospitals, etc. uniforms, look nice. Another thing do you have to pay for the? I do not have to wear them, but have had to in the past. and I didn't mind them.

Well on Saturday night we have T-shirts that we wear with our jeans to show that we work at the auction house. On Sunday when I work I don't have a uniform that I have to wear.

It makes it easier because you don't have to decide on what you are going to wear to work when you have a uniform. But I prefer to wear my own clothes.

As long as it wasnt something like having to wear a hotdog outfit standing outside waving at passing motorists, I wouldnt care. Im really not out to impress the world.

Used to wear scrubs....Retired now...But never had a problem with it...We got to wear all colors and designs, so it make it that much more enjoyable to wear. :) Don't freight, some uniforms are nice and give you a better appearance.
