Sounds to me like some parts are loose. I would suspect the Video card or RAM.

Go for the simplest route first, turn machine off, unplug it, open up the pc...ground yourself by touching a steel area on the machine to rid yourself of static...needless to say, don't do this investigation on a carpet.

Ensure that all cards are seated in the machine correctly...particularly the video card...if you don't know what to do or how to do it...get someone who does or take it to a repair shop (be prepared to pay minimum hourly rate to begin with)

If you do this yourself, push all cards down into their slots...you may find that over time the cards have become unseated...this is a normal occurance in some systems.

Close up the system, plug in, turn on and see if this bit of tweaking has corrected the problem. If yes...great.

If no...you may be in for a new video card possibly...but before we jump to conclusions that cost dollars, sometimes the video card will suddenly not like the slot it's in or it won't stay seated properly...if you are willing to...remove the video card and place into another slot. The slot has to be the same type it is removed from.

If this still doesn't work....contact a troubleshooting group...there are a lot of them on the net, just google...you will get further detailed info there but be prepared to possibly spend money if the above doesn't assist. Always look at the simplest solution first tho...usually it's something very minor.

Hope the above works out for you.

Good luck

Check the manual for what the beep codes are.
You have an intermittent, which are the toughest to find, as they screw up and then they don't.
