I always pick a candy that I like to eat since we usually have some left over. I buy a bag of the mixture of Hersey's chocolate candy.

really, you have to get the bag w/ a variety of stuff b/c everyone likes something different...
then again, w/ me, i buy the candy to give out but for some reason when halloween arrives im all out! its a mystery! (burp)

I like to give out chocolate but it can get expensive because it's chocolate. Kids like M & M's , Fun Dip, Candy necklaces (if you can find them), bags of potato chips/pretzels or maybe snack-size bag cookies.

For the kids, smarties are really good because most kids are not allergic to them. And kids can eat them big or small...
