No I dont
The NK problem is now global, not just a US NK issue. Since they tested a nuke it has caused the international community to stand against NK. Even China, NK's strongest supporter is outraged at their actions and is calling for sanctions.

I do not. Recently the Army announced they recruited 865 more than their goal of 80,000. There is still 2 1/2 months left in the year. More people apply than get accepted. If the Army needed more, they would get more.
Our military is not overextended. We have entire armies in Germany, South Korea, Okinawa, not participating in any fighting. We also have Reserves and National Guard. Not all Reserves or NG have been called to active duty.

Not likely. The Inactive Reserves and Ready Reserves, along with the National Guard and the Coast Guard and Civil Air Patrol can all still be activated upon notice. Then there is medical review for reactivating medical dischargees, who were let go for budgetary reasons, rather than actual medical issues.

No - they know if they institute a draft all of their wars will stop - the American people do not want to be fighting these wars - and most will refuse to go.
Anyways - we're going to let China handle this one.
My question is - why didn't we understand at the beginning at the Iraq war that if he really was a threat - this is how we would have acted - not how we did.

You mean they just now got mad at us. Guess we were friends in the 50's when we fought that little UN action called the KOREAN WAR. Now put down the pie and go to school, this time try to study.

Which party will forfeit their chances to win future elections so that we can invade North Korea?
I doubt it will be the Democrats or the Republicans.

A draft would be the absolute best way for elected representatives to get themselves unelected.

No and I don't want to see a draft or people's lives being put at
risk by war protestors and young people who don't want to be
there.
