About three weeks ago i got a UTI infection, it was my first UTI infection ever. I got medicine and it went away. The doctor said it could have been something to do with my eating habits changing because i just moved into a new enviroment.. aka college. I am only having sex with one other boy, and we have been dating for over a year.... and we were both virgins. Now i think that i have a yeast infection, well i dont really think i do... i'm pretty sure... I have also never develpoed a yeast infection before either, so it seems strange that all of this is happening at once...
I am on birth control and i always get my period on tuesday... today is tuesday and i haven't started bleeding. Do UTI's and yeast infections have to do with being pregnant? Should i wait another day?

Urinary tract infections (UTI's) refer to the presence of bacteria in the urinary system.
- Urinary tract infections are one of the most common bacterial infections in medicine today and account for over 7 million patient visits annually. It is estimated that 40-50% of women will have at least one UTI in their lifetime.
- Some prescription and non-prescription medications are used in the short-term relief of UTI symptoms. These medications are not antibiotics and only help with the temporary relief of symptoms (they do not cure the UTI infection itself). (Specific products may be recommended by a physician or pharmacist.)
- Drinking extra cranberry juice may be protective by possibly inhibiting unwanted bacterial

Usually urinary tract infections are followed by yeast infections because the antibiotics used to treat the uti kill all of the bacteria in your vagina including the good bacteria, which then causes a yeast infection. Your period may be late because of the yeast infection. It doesn't seem like your pregnant but if you are still worried then take a home pregnancy test. Definitely consult a doctor about your yeast infection.

You may or may not be pregnant. The antibiotics you were given to treat your uti may cause you to develop a yeast infection. Also, antibiotics may cause your birth control to be ineffective. So, if you weren't using another form of protection, you could have gotten pregnant. Pregnancy sometimes causes yeast infections because of the hormone fluctuations. The yeast infection can be from your medication, or it could be from pregnancy. Take a pregnancy test, and or go to the doctor. I was in the same situation, and i was pregnant. Good luck!

If the medicine you were given for the urinary tract infection was antibiotics, then you may be pregnant. Your birth control package will have an insert that explains that antibiotics and some other medicines can lessen the potency of the birth control pill.
You could also be so extremely stressed that your period is going to be late.
If you were a virgin recently then that would explain the extra possibility of a UTI and a yeast infection.
Good Luck

Calm down, stress can make your period be off. Besides your still young enough to go through an occasional screw up with your cycle. One time I went 2 weeks, got it again and then went 6 weeks. As far as you UTI and Yeast infection they can be cause by so many things such as cleaning your girl too deep and with dushes or being alergic to certain soap or bubble baths. Remember that you need a little good bacteria to kill off the bad.

GO GET A TEST. Then you won't have to worry about it anymore. UTI and yeast infections do happen more frequently in pregnancy.

You also might have just gotten a yeast infection from the antibiotics. When you taken them it increases your chance of getting a yeast infection. if you used a condom during sex you could have gotten a yeast infection from that also. you might have had an allergic reaction to the latex.

UTI's and yeast infections can be from being prego, but I doubt you are if you are on the pill. I have had both, and I was only with my one partner myslef! It doesn't necessarily mean you are prego or that it's even from sex!
