I don't think world peace is possible. Human nature is a difficult thing. there are leaders and there are followers. there are the dominant and there are the dominated. The Hitlers and the Stalins of the world as well as religous zealots will prevent world peace from every being a reality.

Besides the evil choices we make based on greed, there's also the social and economical structure inherent in our governing system in which weapons are manufactured and sold on a private and profit making business. If we really want peace we have to eradicate the very powerful arms interests that benefit from conflict and war...also, we have to sincerely set up and strengthen inter-global mechanisms geared to peace, which definitely implies not electing the likes of Bush, Harper, and Blair.

Best thing is to have peace with yourself and the ones you love. War, peace, rich, poor, happy, unhappy, win a battle, lose a battle. It all doesn't matter in the end.
Justin: Jesus, gave peace that is true, but its up to us to show that peace, which Jesus talk so much about, whether you are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, atheist, black, white, red, yellow, male, female, straight, or gay. Show love even if love is not received back.

No way. With all the nuclear weapons programs.....No way will we ever obtain world peace.

nope.....only when christ comes.

and to all the people who will laugh, we have had 2000 years of non-peace without christ. so i think we have been given a fair shot, eh????
