do guys like the girl more if he is always nice to her or if he's nice sometimes and mistreats her at other times i guess i would mean being inconsistent all the time. because this guy mumbled this girl looked better but am not sure who he was speaken of i just assumed me because he asked her to ride to the store with him and always acts like he can't do things with me not even hold a conversation , it's like he gets nervous around me and just acts stupid for some reason

he likes you but is in denial. guys who likes a girl tend to clamp up or feel uncomfortable around the girl the really like. Just let him be...pretty soon he will overcome it. Just keep smiling at him. That would encourage him to be himself and to try to initiate more conversations with you.
