He should have been black flagged for passing under the yellow line earlier.

im glad to see vickers get his first win. I hate Jr as a driver, but he seems like a good person. If junior was in 3rd on last lap, and wrecked the top 2, then junior fans would have thought it was a good move. I didn't see the yellow line part, but junior never gets penalized. I'm not a vickers fan, but if he even touched the green flag, he probably would have gotten penalized. I have seen junior go below the yellow line b4 and made a pass and didn't get penalized. If he goes below the yellow line and makes a pass, the officials will say that someone forced him down there

I don't know if "deserved" is the right word. All things considered, Jr would not have won the race anyway, even without Vickers monumental foul-up. The fact is Jr was all alone at the front with no drafting help. As soon as the 2nd and 3rd place drivers got together to pass him he would have been hung out to dry, losing a lot more than two or three spots. It's a cold hard fact of racing at the super speedways. If you lose the draft, you're gonna get passed.

As far as the yellow line goes, I didn 't see it. But consider this. The only time you get black-flagged for driving under the yellow line is when you advance your position by doing so.

Anybody who wasn't impressed by Dale Jr. after the race on Sunday doesn't know anything about racing. He got spun on the last lap while leading, going 200 miles an hour, and still had enough composure to give an interview.
As far as whether he deserved to win,I don't feel like he was in a position to win at the end.Being in the front on the last lap with a pair of teammates behind him must have been scary.
We'll never know how a clean race would have ended,so the question is moot.

He had a good chance to win or get a top 3 finish at least. I like Jr. (he's my dad's fav.) but I don't think any driver ever 'deserves' to win any race. He had a good car, fought back from a flat tire, and was in the top 3 at the end. The #8 car was the victim of others stupidity, and he was the only driver to show any class after the race.

Too bad HMS drivers are such clueless idiots on plate tracks especially, that they can't keep their cars under control. All the wrecks were caused by HMS. The #5 and #48 started the big one, and the #25 and #48 the last one. The only good thing was they took the #24 out in their mess.

Go back to kindergarten, he didn't pass anyone under the yellow line. The "newbies" learn a new rule and try to apply it to suit their own agenda.

Now this is bigoted. countless stable drivers, like Greg Biffle and Kasey Kahne, even have not gained this 12 months. All 3 of them have shown information. This motor vehicle of day after today looked as though it would particularly holiday somewhat some human beings up. after which you spot that Martin Truex Jr. have been given the stable kit, the stuff Dale Jr. paid for over the years. 5 engines blowing out is not any fluke! next 12 months he would be using for people who *want* him to win. Yeah, i think of he gets a minimum of one next 12 months, and that i'm a style of human beings who think of he'd have much less of a popularity if he replaced into Jim Smith Junior as a exchange of Dale Earnhardt Junior.

Yes Dale Jr should have won that race. If Vickers hadn't made that mistake Jr would have been the winner and everyone knows that.

Dale Jr did not pass under the yellow line during the race because if he did then Nascar would have penalized him and the Bud team for that!!

Earnhardt did not gain any positions when he went under the line. But what about the others who went under the line as well?More than just Junior did this and none were black flagged.
And if the wreck did not happen it would have been Junior at the line.

Yes he should have won! He was a lap behind for a while and was able to come back to first place if that isn't a good driver then I don't know what is. Vickers is a jackass to do that to Jimmy and Dale but put Dale aside and just look at what Vickers did to Jimmy that was CRAP! They are supposed to be teammates you don't do that to teammates! I'm just glad no one was hurt.

Never under estimate Johnson I think he would have taken it if his so called team mate wouldn't have made a stupid move. It helped my favorite Kenseth move up in the points.
