Simpsons--its going on its 18th year ....I love that show

The Simpsons debuted on-air 12/17/89 and is still running new episodes (the last Wikipedia count was 381 episodes). Rugrats aired from 1991 to 1994 and then again from 1996-2005 for a total of 174 episodes.
So, The Simpsons wins.

The simpsons are still running, and simpsons has a bigger public than Rugrats.... So simpsons it's already a classic that no one will forget, but rugrats, never has as much popularity in every kind of public like simpson do!

I believe the Simpsons has been around for much longer, and are still going. One thing I hate about cartoons, watched the simpsons growing up, now I dont-because the characters havent changed or aged!

Simpson's started before Rugrats. They got their start on the Traci Ullman Show as a cartoon short and they are still going.
